Hemofiber optical fiber

Hemofiber is a disposable optical fiber to be employed in proctology, particularly for removing and reducing the hemorrhoid pile.
In order to facilitate the insertion into the tissue to be treated, Hemofiber is equipped with a conically pointed silica glass cap at its distal end. The diameter of the fiber tip matches with the cannula and the autoclavable handpiece.

The Luer - Lock connector is used to secure the fiber to the cannula or to the handpiece.
The Hemofiber optical fiber is recommended to treat 3rd and 4th degree hemorrhoids with retractable or fixed prolapse.
