Slowing down the ageing process
In the initial phases, by biomodulating the ROS activity on mitochondrial cytochromes at low energy, a reduction in apoptosis leads to an increase in:
  • fibroblast proliferation (type I collagen for increasing TIMs inhibiting metalloproteases)
  • hyaluronic acid synthesis
  • endothelial cells
The ROSs (Reactive Oxygen Species H²O²-²O²) react very quickly with just in a few milliseconds:
  • at low doses they oxidise aged molecules and bacteria,
  • at high doses they are toxic (apoptosis) for living cells (photodynamic therapy)
